Theme: VOICES / Concept: “Let the Light In” is a textile artwork that expresses the idea that welcoming positive, luminous thoughts into the mind can bring healing to physical, emotional, and spiritual discomfort. Many spiritual teachings and enlightened Masters—such as Christ, Buddha, Peter Deunov, Bo Yin Ra, healers like Dolores Cannon, Louise Hay, Dr. Alex Lloyd and Dr. Ben Johnson and their Healing Code, among others—emphasize that the power to heal lies within us. Each of Them, in their own way, teaches that we are capable of transforming and restoring ourselves from within.

When we open ourselves to Spiritual light, the beautiful inner “flowers of life” naturally rise to the surface, becoming visible to the mind. This Light works gently but powerfully for our health, well-being, and Spiritual evolution.

Soft textile artwork created on a stretched, primed Italian fabric canvas (70% cotton / 30% synthetic) mounted on a wedged softwood stretcher frame.

Materials:

100% fine Italian silk shantung, Madeira embroidery threads, Felt, Polyester shot-organza threads, Ivory silk organza (flowers)

Techniques:

Background layer: Hand embroidery

Second layer: Digitally embroidered flowers, artistically cut out, fringed, and hand-stitched

Third layer: Free-motion embroidery in black thread, hand-stitched to the background

Top layer: Free-motion embroidery with metallic thread
